Automotive Headrest

Designed and fabricated an automotive headrest from scratch. The structure incorporated two types of foam to balance comfort and support, and a cardboard back panel to replicate the construction of real vehicle seats. The PU leather cover was patterned, hand-cut, and machine-sewn, featuring an integrated zipper for ease of assembly and maintenance. This rapid prototyping exercise enhanced my understanding of ergonomic design, material behavior, and upholstery techniques.

Future improvements include refining fabric tension and stitch quality for a more polished finish.
